CROATIA RIGHT NOW REBLOG PLEASE
This is how Serbia looks right now. We’re going through the worst natural disaster in history and we need your help. If you can’t donate please reblog this and help spreading the word.
So in Serbia, Bosnia, and Croatia right now there are disastrous floods and thousands have lost their homes and many have died. Although this is the biggest flood Europe has seen in the past 120 years, news broadcasters such as CNN or NBC are not mentioning anything about it!!!!! All my family lives there and I’m really worried so if you could all pass on the word so that more people are aware of this horrible event, that would be much appreciate.
how do i begin? my country is going through a fucking cataclism? i live in serbia, and although i am lucky enough to have a dry and safe bed, i can’t stand watching this. about 20 000 people have lost their homes and family members (not only in serbia).
all i’m asking for is just a little compassion, i’m asking for you to make some space on your blog for that poor but lovely country southeast from you (three of them, actually: bosnia, serbia and croatia - even if they’re not southeast from you). you wouldn’t believe what this region is still going through, it’s rude to say it’s disastrous because it’s much more. we have helped each other, people who have nothing have given half of everything they have, and those 20 thousand people left without a home sitting on a mattress in a sports hall (if they’re lucky), who have lost everything they worked for their whole life, they need your help. i have never been so emotional in my life. i am so proud of the people around me, but we need more than just each other. serbia and bosnia are poor countries even without this bullshit.
I’m asking for a few reblogs, for some awareness, so this can get to the people who could help.

If you live on a Serbian salary (provided you’re lucky enough to have a job), you don’t live a carefree life. If a flood destroys your TV set, you will probably not watch television that year. If a flood destroys your fridge, you will not be able to freeze your food for quite some time. If a flood destroys your home, you and your family are very much fucked for the rest of your lives.
This has been happening in Serbia now, as the country has been hit by its worst natural disaster in the recorded history. A few hundred thousand people in Western and central Serbia are affected by the floods. Thousands have been displaced. The death toll is not final as many households are still inaccessible.
I don’t use my facebook to raise charity because the more you do it, the more people ignore it, but this time it’s different. If you can afford to help out, you can donate money via PayPal using floodrelief@gov.rs. No amount is too small!
